Nickel trading range for the day is 651.4-669.6. Nickel prices gains chasing surging steel prices in China, though gains were capped by still high levels of inventory. So far, Indonesian government has expanded its nickel ore export list to four companies, with a total export quota up to 8.14 million tonnes. According to China Customs, China imported a total of 560,000 tonnes of nickel ore from Indonesia since Indonesia’s quota approval system to June.
