Nickel trading range for the day is 741.7-784.7. Nickel rallied tracking LME prices closed up 2.3 percent at $12,030 as China’s economy remained on a firm footing.China will cut export taxes on some steel products and fertilisers and ditch those for sales abroad of steel wire, rod and bars from Jan. 1. Helping to trim a glut of stockpiles in exchange, the global deficit for refined nickel widened to 65,700 tonnes.
