EPIC RESEARCH MCX ZINC UPDATE OF 20 FEBRUARY 2018

Zinc trading range for the day is 229-232.4. Zinc prices settled flat tracking weakness in LME prices closed down 0.6 percent at $3,555 amid recovery in dollar. Global zinc miners and smelters failed to reach any benchmark deal on 2018 processing terms at an annual industry gathering.Smelters were expected to accept lower fees for processing concentrate into metal, as a crunch in mine supply stretches into a third year.
