EPIC RESEARCH MCX NATURAL GAS UPDATE OF 12 OCTOBER 2017

Naturalgas trading range for the day is 187.7-194.9. Natural gas gained despite warmer than normal weather which is expected to cover most of the United States for the next 8-14 days. EIA is forecasting more typical winter weather this year and that Henry Hub spot prices will rise 5% Y/Y to average $3.18/MMBtu this winter. Even a normal winter could mean big price swings since supplies are relatively tight; the glut of natural gas in storage has shrunk.
